Use of the Meeting House

Stratford Meeting House is available for hire by local groups.

Here in Stratford, the Quakers host the regular meetings of Fairtrade Stratford – the organisation that promotes Fairtrade in the town. We are also seeking to make our Meeting and the Meeting House more climate-friendly and sustainable.

Stratford Quaker Meeting House is used regularly during the day for arts and yoga classes, and has regular evening use by Alcoholics Anonymous, Amnesty International, Fairtrade Stratford, the Stratford Interfaith Forum, local Buddhists and a choir, and it has recently been serving the community as a polling station during elections.

There are two rooms available: a large room which can take up to 30 people and a smaller room which can take up to 10 people. The Meeting House has kitchen facilities and a wheelchair accessible toilet. There are a small number of off-road parking spaces in front of the meeting house, and parking is available on the road around the meeting house (though with time limits Monday-Saturday).

The Meeting House also has a small library – though large for a Meeting House of its size! Please get in touch in advance if you wish to visit or use the library.

To enquire about the availability of rooms or use of the library, phone 01789 299950.
